I S O L A T I O N has always encouraged creativity in fashion, and this the first step in our plan to bring out the best in you all! Our DERELICTE fashion shoot makes YOU the MODEL ONCE AGAIN!
Create your best make-shift outfit, D.I.Y. clothing and junkyard trappings and have your photograph taken in our professional photoshoot, courtesy the irrepressible JACQUELINE JANE!
We believe that the statement of how you dress can reflect who you are, but doesnt need to reflect how much you spend: D.I.Y fashion ruled our lives as teenagers, and we want to see how you express ISOLATION by creating your look in the DERELICTE style, expressing yourself not indebting yourself! (Did we just make a pun?) Even the ISOLATION look, with our blue lights, smoke and minimalist graphics has been achieved on our shoe-string budget, proving that where there is a will, there is a way! You’ve shown us time and again that style transcends socio-economics, so give us your best!
DJ KOE + DJ TRAVIS DOOM will be providing the sound track for your magnums and blue-steels, full of dark electronic, minimal and industrial, post-punk and wave. ALSO watch out for a new ISOLATION SAMPLER disc to listen to while you assemble your ISOLATION ‡ DERELICTE styles!

ISOLATION WALPURGISNACHT!
WALPURGISNACHT
A time when, like Halloween, the tenuous barrier between our world and the spirit world is weakened and we must deal with the spirits which seek to cross over!
Traditionally, bonfires were lit and danced around all night to ward off the evil spirits!
In keeping with this, we will have a flamelight “bonfire” in the centre of the room!
YOUR task: bring along an item to throw into the fire! This will be something you wish to use to either ward off a malevolent spirit, or to contact a benevolent one! Before you cast these material items in the flames, we will photograph you with it, and when the photographs go online, you will post a note explaining what your item was and why you chose it to contact the wandering spirits!
I’m really looking forward to sharing some meaningful connection to the lost spirits in our lives (whether you hold them to be real or metaphorical), and I think participating in the WALPURGISNACHT tradition is the perfect time to do this :]
Of course Koe & Travis Doom will be trading sets of rare and alternative Post-Punk + New Wave tracks for us to dance away the evil spirits and keep our friends and family safe during this auspicious time ;]
